After thinking it over, I began telling my friends and family about the type of job I wanted and showed everyone my checklists.
Not one person took me seriously. In fact, they laughed in my face and said I was dreaming and needed to get my head out of the clouds.
I didn't even know if something like what I wanted even existed. But I made up my mind that I was going to look for it until I found it.
You could say my quest for this "buried treasure" of a stress-free and happy lifestyle that comes with working from home had begun.
I started off my journey going to some of the popular "work from home" Facebook Groups and signing up for every opportunity I could find.
You would probably faint if you knew how many credit cards I maxed out from buying into "The Dream" that comes with working from home.
Seriously, I spent over tens of thousands of dollars that I didn't have (remember, they were credit cards, and lots of em) trying to find something that would just work.
It's sad to say that out of all of the money I lost ($78,511.89 to be exact), 6 months later and the three jobs I had to work just to pay for living expenses, not to mention the terrifying minimum payments on those cards, my extremely painful and expensive quest came to an end.
You see, when I was on this "Quest" to find out how I could find the opportunity that meets everything on my checklist, I didn't have much going for me.
